Why payments may fail
Payments can be declined by your bank or card issuer for several reasons. When a payment is attempted, the issuing bank verifies multiple details such as available balance, card validity, and security information before approving the charge.
Since all transactions are processed securely by our payment partners, a failed payment usually indicates that your bank has rejected the charge.
Common reasons for payment errors
Debit card restrictions: Some debit cards require a PIN or are not enabled for online transactions. Try using a different card if this applies.
Cross-border restrictions: If your card was issued in a different country from where you’re subscribing, your bank may block the charge. Contact your bank to confirm if international or cross-border payments are allowed.
Incorrect card details: Errors in card number, expiry date, CVC (security code), billing name, or billing address can cause declines.
Insufficient funds: Ensure that your account has enough balance or credit limit before retrying the payment.
